The Eiffel Tower, 72 names of French scientists, engineers and other notable people are engraved on the lower level to recognize their efforts. I learned this on a guided tour I took many years ago! This is a great shot.

I have never seen the Eiffel Tower this close up. I didn't know that it had writing on it, and I also didn't know that it had some fancier architecture on it. Thank you so much for sharing.
