Wow! I love how you captured this. Not sure I would have guess it. I like this take on it. I never knew there were names on it. I even like the bird you captured in it. Thanks for sharing. :-)

I never knew there were names on it either! Learn something new every day! Thanks!

Nice perspective on an iconic structure.

Love this shot, great spin on an oft-photographed structure. I also never knew that there were names on it so that's pretty cool.

Great perspective!

Nice angle and love the concentration on one area. I lived in Paris and I never knew there are names on it.

The Eiffel Tower, 72 names of French scientists, engineers and other notable people are engraved on the lower level to recognize their efforts. I learned this on a guided tour I took many years ago! This is a great shot.
January 15th, 2011
My guess is the Eiffel Tower as well, but only because I know you live in Paris. Otherwise, I'd probably have no idea!
Great in b&w and wonderful perspective.

Wow, how lucky you are to have such a wonderful place to walk around and photograph. I was in Europe 17 years ago, I would love to go back and with my dslr in hand, I could walk the streets for days if I was there today
January 15th, 2011
this is too easy Helene! :) i love this photo!
January 15th, 2011
I love this and I love getting to see other parts of the world through 365 eyes! :0)

I have never seen the Eiffel Tower this close up. I didn't know that it had writing on it, and I also didn't know that it had some fancier architecture on it. Thank you so much for sharing. I love learning new things, and this sure is the place to do it. I love how you cropped and colored this photo too. It's really wonderful.

I went to the top, but at 11:00 PM, so I never noticed the details. Thanks so much, Helene, for sharing that image!

Superb. Shots of structures from unusual angles are really cool!
