La Ferté sous Jouarre by parisouailleurs

La Ferté sous Jouarre

I wanted to take pictures of the swans but with my p&s I couldn't ... This city is about 45 ms by car from Paris, it's less beautiful than it looks, we just stopped for a quick lunch!
Lovely, serene pic

You sound less than impressed! Most places look good with water, wild fowl and picturesque landing places. B&W gives it a rural old fashioned look,.

So you're a very good photographer then, because it sure looks beautiful.

I also think it looks like a beautiful town but know sometimes towns can be more run down than a B&W photo tells. Nice view from here however!

Well I don't know what you are seeing, but I think you have captured a beautiful river scene. The weeping willows, swans, lovely rooftops make this photo. I would say it was a lovely area...
