I've been up there several years ago, but on a day like this I wouldn't... He does look even higher because you don't know how long it goes on, great capture!
... but it's always like that when you live there; I lived in Edinburgh for the best part of 10 years, but it wasn't until I went back for a weekend (some years later) that I actually saw some of the sights.
Nice shot though; strangely reminds me of here when the top of the CN Tower is hidden by low cloud.
Beautiful. I realize that most people have commented on the tower that is disappearing in to the fog, but what I love in this picture are the old buildings on the side. I love the design and architecture, and the tones used in the photo make them all the more beautiful.
