After more than 18 years we decided to ride again. We had two very nice horses, Lancelot & Kiss-me. In conclusion, body aches, my husband had fallen but we have another appointment in few days ...
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.
You can also...
Riding is fun, but your body definitely needs to get used to it. We rode for the first time in Ireland a couple years ago, and I had a blast... but I could barely walk for two days afterwards!
@melissapike you're so right Melissa, gardening and taking pictures are the only sport I practice... so you can imagine how my body badly needs to get used to it again!!!
Kiss me sounds like a great horse ... Is that the one hubby was riding when he took a tumble (; have fun I wish I could ride a horse one day : Lovely picture too
@steveh yes Steve, Kiss me was my hubby's horse (on the left) but he didn't do any thing wrong. I told my husband he should try do trot without stirrups.... bad idea!!! @shantwin after so many years i though it would be terrible, but it seems to be (almost) like bicycles you never forget.... and it's a fun way to remember you have muscles you forget if you see what i mean ;-)
Very good for you to ride again. We made a horse name Sir Lancelot at one time. Very neat :-) I know what you mean by those muscles. My daughter and I went running Tuesday and I can still feel it!! lol Great shot! I hope your hubby is okay. :-)
@vposey I didn't know you ride Vickie... you need to take your camera with you. My husband is ok thank you very much.... lets just say today is worth than yesterday (hubby just told me that i'm walking like an old lady!!!)
love this and that you two are doing something together. you know, he won't listen to you again for awhile. lol. i'm going to start exercising, so i'll be walking like an old lady very soon as school starts Thursday and i'm going to start exercising then!
