The French have always incorporated all things involving bees into lovely items... I recall seeing images of bees in a lot of artistic works from France.
@Weezilou I'm not very good in history but you're right Louise and if my memory is good they were on the Kings big coats (you know the blue ones, with I think gold bees...)
@jott thank you so much Joshua, means a lot from a photographer like you! yes they do get honey. You can buy honey from different places in Paris, like the hives on the roof of the Opera...
