Because I remember when I visited Copenhagen many years ago, the first time I saw cafes with blankets waiting for custumers.

beautiful composition with all the red....oh, i have to find an amaryllis also. you can take such beautiful pictures when they bloom...in vienna you can find blankets, too....at least in some nice coffeehouses :)

It's a great idea and I love the red amaryllis. I think everywhere I've seen this (Berlin last time) the blankets have been the same - bargain ones from Ikea - we've got some in our summer house!

Lovely colours. Yes! All through Scandinavia - the cafes had blankets - we got very excited in Sweden in an outdoor restaurant because we asked for the blankets and sat there all cosy eating our alfresco dinner!

I visited Copenhagen once in the summer and loved it but saw no blankets! This is very hospitable. Love the pop of color.
