Believe it or not, I saw similar fields in western Kentucky several weeks ago, but wasn't able to get a good shot (zooming by at 70 mph on the interstate). Canola, someone said?

Had to google rapeseed and yes, it's the same what we call here mustard seed. yes this is a beautiful color to see all over the fields. nice to see be able to see this from your garden.
@bruni Thank you Bruni. What you found on goglle is strange. Rapessed is to make oil. It looks like mustard seed but it's a different plant and most of all different use ;-)
Helen, I went back on google and can't find anymore what I read about the mustard seed and the rapeseed. so I thing I must have misread something and you're right. sorry. I was under the impression I fav. this picture but I don't see it mentioned in my original comment. so here I'll do it now.
