I really like the way you have silhouetted the sculptural elements on the bridge! What is the name and use of the glass topped building on the left with the tricolor flag on it?
@2dogs thank you very much for your comment. The moument with glass top is Grand Palais (big palace). It was built for universal exhibition in 1900. Now there are exhibitions / events under the glass roof as art (famous ones named Monumenta) ice ring for Christmas, a fabulous horse show jumping, many many if them.
@parisouailleurs, I have been to Paris only twice in my almost 50 years. I was inspired both times by its je ne sais quoi...your photos and commentary keep me motivated to return, hopefully soon!
