@castlelass thank you very much for your comments. Did you have your cat as a kittn. When we adopted Toulouse he was 2/3 years old. I have a cruch on Scarlett because I can imagine how Toulouse looked it.
@parisouailleurs We were adopted by Poppy when she was 2, she is about 16/17 now. So yes we missed out on the cute kitten phase. She is actually our 1st cat so we were learning on the job! Poppy was very spiky to start off with: she had a shakey start was rescued by a couple who later split up and neither were able to house her but by then she was a visitor to our home anyway, so WE got lucky. She chose us.
