My husband has a nephew who is a dad. I don't know what this little girl is for me but I know she's going to wear a cute Tshirt, I couldn't resist (and wish I could find the same one in my size)!!!

I don't know how I became the expert-in-residence on these matters in may family, but from an early age, relationships between extended family members fascinated me, and they made sense, too. My aunts and uncles have always asked me questions like "What is the relationship between X person and Y person?" Now that I'm nearly 50 and they're around 70, that may not seem strange, but when I was 11 and they were adults, it was decidedly odd!
