This is a new stained glass window in my parish church. In 2007 there was a huge fire and the original window and everything in the church was destroyed including the roof and one of the walls. All that escaped was the bell tower. The church was rebuilt over 5 years and this window was commissioned to replace the original window. The church now has a metal roof and the whole side wall has been replaced with a modern but sympathetically designed glass structure. This is the church where my parents were married, my sister was married and me and my siblings were all christened here so it was nice to pay a visit to see how it looks now after the restoration.
