The walk around my park is a mile and a quarter but I end up doing a mile and a half having to go up and down the bank to avoid groups like this.
Where are their masks? Why aren't they two metres apart? Why don't they move over when someone passes them? And surely they are old enough to know better!
Rant over, I feel better now.
I know just how you feel. My grandaughter had a 40 min introduction to her new class and teacher this morning before back to school full time on Monday. Among the parents hardly a face mask to be seen - I felt overdressed!
Terrible! Here masks are compulsory, yet you still see many people who carry them but don't wear them (unless they see a police officer, then they put it on - they don't want to pay the fine). So selfish.
Soooooo frustrating... I noticed the same in the post office, socially distanced queue. I think Iām protecting you by wearing my mask, please protect me by wearing yours! š¤·š»āāļøš·
I see this everyday especially among the youngsters. Christine and I criss-cross the promenade to avoid people like these. Pity isn't it when you see what is happening all over the world.
They could well be a social bubble. I do find it frustrating when people in masks think they are invincible and reach right across your face in the supermarket, but oh don't get me started on the ones who wear a mask under their chin or only over their mouth but not their nose........we will be here all night!! We are up to 2,000 new cases a day now in England but very few deaths as it is mostly the young now who have it. 3/4 of cases are among under 40s now. But the rules are so simple and easy to follow - I simply don't understand why people can't still meet up but keep apart further. You can still have fun that way!
Glad you got in your mile and a half!
