Widdershins around the kirk by pattyblue

Widdershins around the kirk

Although we have visited Lichfield many times we decided to go the other way around the cathedral and found this lovely pool.
From here you can only see two of the three spires of the cathedral as one is hidden from view.
The day was flat and dull and this shot looked really muddy but switching it to b&w seemed to improve it.
LOVE everything about it ....

A lovely view that works well in b&w, giving the image a rather dated feel - fav!

A beautiful angle of the cathedral, with two of its spires reflected in the water. Beautifully edited in B&W.

A lovely b&w. Had to smile at your title; we do a daily vocabulary quiz game and I recently learned the word “widdershins”
