Last week I took my car to Stourbridge for its annual service. While waiting I walked down to the High Street to kill some time and found it to be deserted. So different from last year's visit as it's normally buzzing, especially with students as there is a large college here.
This is a beautifully composed shot. Deserted high streets do seem very strange, but then when the centre of York became quite busy I found that very strange and quite frightening as well! Fav!
As a photo it works very well, an interesting viewpoint and a nice composition. But the place itself, damp and gray and devoid of people looks utterly grim.
Beautiful shot. The town must be very pretty from what I see. Yes, everywhere looks strange with Covid constraints but that is important if we want to get rid of this killer.
