This is the Birmingham & Fazeley canal and is about 6 miles out from the city.
After passing through industrial areas, graffiti and litter I eventually came to this pristine section.
The garden to this house backs onto the canal and this is just a small section shown here.
There was a resident from one of the houses on my side who was strimming the grass along the towpath so they really keep this section lovely.
Oh well, time to turn around now and head back to reality!
