So the lesson learned today was don’t go walking along a rural canal after weeks of heavy rain.
The walk was about 4 miles long and approx 2 miles of it was like this.
We were exhausted by the time we got to the end of the walk and had a very welcome drink in the village of Wootton Wawen.
I am pleased to report that neither of us fell over.
