Or Snake Head Fritillary growing in our garden we don't know why we have patterned and plain flowers on the same plant but that's the way it grows.
Nice capture Peter.Maybe cross pollination ?Don,t quote me because i don,t know much about it.

Beautiful flowers. I haven't seen these before until this week and now I have seen three on 365 in the last few days.
