This Polish van along with myself were the last to leave Donington Park race circuit campsite today, they were driving all the way back to Warsaw in Poland approx 1,900km or 1,180 miles.
Fabulous artwork on the van. I think that converts to about 3000 km, which is what we travelled on our recent trip to Canberra, Melbourne and home again. Hope they are taking their time home and taking in the sights.
@terryliv Ha Ha Terry, I was surprised the writing on the van was in English, they said it was because they travel here delivering gear to UK bike shops, Poland being a member of the European Community since 2004 all Poles are free to travel and work in the UK without restriction, at the last censor in 2011 there were 600,000 Poles living and working in the UK:)
Our daughter lived in Ealing, west London and there was a huge Polish community there. If it wasn't for the Polish tradesmen, I think London would come to a standstill.
@simta Благодаря Татьяна, мир супер велосипед гонка проходила в Донингтон Парк возле Ноттингеме, Англия, и эти люди должны были путешествовать всю дорогу домой в Варшаву в Польше близости 1,900 км
@terryliv Before I retired I was project manager on major 400,000 volt power distribution projects, I had a number of Polish engineers and they where all well qualified first class Electrical or Mechanical engineers:)
Love the painting. Still a bike fan. We owned a Honda 750 in 1975. Went all over South Africa in those days. Even Zimbabwe. Today I am proud to say the bike is in a private museum.
