Northern Damselfly

Its that time of year they are all over the river bank, but still a devil to catch, they fly about very quickly. they are approx 50mm long.

Great capture, Peter! My dad used to fear these things badly because as a youngster his sister told him they would sew his lips together. Sorry to have been absent for so long. I was busy enjoying my retirement on another motorcycle journey.
