Lovely landscape Peter. Looks like the country in Gippsland in Victoria.

I have been to Mottram many times in my younger years, some places don't change do they. gorgeous scenery.

@onewing Thank you for your comments Babs suspect your right maybe a few more houses and the 400,000 volt electricity line on the horizon was constructed in the 1960's:)

Looks like a lovely area. I have never been to Mottram, but over the years I have done a lot of family history research and my Hibbert ancestors came from Cheshire - mainly Prestbury and later Chester, but some from Mottram in Longendale
