Stranger No47

My Friday people this week is Malteser the Clown aka Gavin Radforth he along with his brother Izzo the clown (Ian) were entertaining the crowd in Brighouse at the Tour de Yorkshire last Sunday they are professional entertainers known collectively as the Rapide Brothers,
They always played together as clowns at an early age after visiting a circus on holiday they started performing part time in 1991, then joined the Leeds based youth circus called “Circus Zanni”. Now many years later they are skilled clowns plus many other skills, Stilt Walking, Puppetry, Juggling, Diabolo, Balloon Modelling, Walking Ladder, Unicycle, Walking Globe, Magic and Comedy Bikes. they have worked at all kinds of venues from large theatres to children’s birthday parties, not only all over the UK but also around the world.

Not sure I've ever seen a clown up that close before...

He looks quite a character. Not as scary as some clowns thank heaven. I am still traumatised by clowns from the circus when Mum used to take my sister and I each year when we were kids.

@onewing This one was a children friendly clown, he had lots around him enjoying his antics, but I know what you mean about circus clowns:)
