My entry in this weeks challenge Skyward,
this shot was taken in the grounds of Harewood house in Yorkshire
Red kites are 60 to 70 cm (24 to 28 in) long with a 175–179 cm (69–70 in) wingspan

@onewing Thank you Babs I had been told by a camera club member that there were Red Kites around Harewood house so went in search managed to see around a dozen flying around,
Red kites are 60 to 70 cm (24 to 28 in) long with a 175–179 cm (69–70 in) wingspan:)

Wonderful capture.
There are quite a few spots near me where red kites can be seen but I haven't managed to catpture one (yet!)
