Unknown (“Western Salsify”)

These are growing wild and look like a very large Dandelion Clock but they are not, its approximately 125mm or 5 inch diameter and stand 600mm or 2 feet high, anyone have any idea what they are ?
Sorry, I don't now what it is ,but looks impressive

Garden Answers says it is a “Western Salsify”. A wildflower with a big “dandelion-like” seed head. Your photo is wonderful.
