@ludwigsdiana Many thanks for your lovely comment Diana, you can hire all manor of craft from Paddle-boards, Yachts to Cabin cruisers, many visitors just sit back and take one of the many cruise plus hop on hop off and hike boats there is so much to do in the Lake District:)
