Montpellier Quarter

Montpellier Quarter Harrogate North Yorkshire, it was quite a surprised to find a bar restaurant called the "Slug & Lettuce" on the right.
Such a lovely scene. A cool name for a restaurant!

Divine old setting :) Pity about the new building peeking over from the back!! And Slug & Lettuce - I'd be wary of ordering a salad :)

@caterina Thank you so much for finding the time to comment Caterine,
The development of the Montpellier Quarter began in the 1860’s when George Dawson acquired Ashfield House, the home of the owner of the Crown Hotel, and incorporated the building into his construction of Montpellier Parade, so-called in deference to the fashion for French Spa names.
