This exhibition in the Smith Art Gallery Brighouse is capturing a century of Brighouse, West Yorkshire on canvas and camera,
this exhibition features paintings from Calderdale Museums’ collections, including works by local Brighouse artists Miles Sharp and Stanley Chapman, their works are displayed alongside newly produced A4 size photographs by members of the Halifax Photographic Society (I'm a member), who have recreated scenes from historic artworks of Brighouse to bring up to date the story of everyday life and ongoing change in the town.
