Lincoln High Street 1931

The lady in the white coat is my wifes grandmother the little girl her mother, had to do lots of work on it but you get the idea
This is so wonderful. The elegant clothes. The cars! Oh my.

a truly beautiful photo, I love seeing images of time gone by, seeing how everything has changed in just over 90 years...means of transport, clothes, cities....

it's wonderful to see a "street capture" from 1931 - something that would not have been done very often I'm sure! A precious moment in time with the clothing car and lovely family members :) fav

What an interesting photo, so much to look at here.

I know exactly just how much work is involved with editing old photos. A lot of work but the results are rewarding.

A true street shot! There's a certain romance in these old photos - and extra special when the subjects in the photo are family that preceded you.
