Oh my, this is fabulous! You are going to love your new toy! I laughed at your cheeseburger comment, Peter. I ate half and Jerry ate half so we survived!
@louannwarren Thank you for your comment Lou Ann pleased you were not offended by my cheeseburger comment was just a bit of fun, pleased you only ate half each fare shares for all the best way:)
@onewing Thank you Babs I'm getting there setting it up, my 90mm f2.8 macro lens is the Sony alpha mount, I had to use a Sony LA-EA3 A-mount adapter to fit on the new camera E mount, clearly it worked fine:)
@ludwigsdiana Many thanks for both your comment and Fav. Diana, I like using the diagonal composition on single slender subjects as it helps fill the frame and adds more interest than a thin vertical image with lots of free space each side:)
@stray_shooter Yes indeed Ron, I have got it all set up with my custom menu and assigned the buttons but can't find in the menu were you can stop the camera shooting if no SD card is fitted, I change it on the mark 2 any ideas, it stops the camera firing away without card:)
@pcoulson Hmmm, I'm stumped. I could use such an alarm that goes off before I walk out the door with the camera. I do pretty much keep the second card in the camera full time. I assign jpg's to go to the second card while all RAW's go to the card in slot 1. Rarely do I even access card 2 unless there is some disaster (which happened to me recently - elaboration coming soon on the m/c adventure thread) so it hardly ever gets removed.
