I love celery and use it in lots of my recipes. When I was small I used to love coming home from school and as a snack having celery and bread and butter. I suppose most people would want a biscuit, sweets or cake but because we lived in a grocery shop all those things were available all the time I didn't tend to eat them ha ha.
Just perfect. My son won a science fair with celery, he put food dye in cups and the celery turned the color of the dye after a couple of days. I don’t remember what scientific rule he was proving, but he was so proud.
@quietpurplehaze Ha ha seldom do I get cross over what people say about my images so no problem there Hazel, these are from the centre of a head of Celery that gets thrown away usually:)
@louannwarren Thanks for your interesting comment Lou Ann, I know exactly what your son was proving in his science project its Capillary Action, helped my son with the same thing in his school science project, celery is perfect for it because it has a lot of xylem tubes in the stalk:)
