@louannwarren Thank you for both your comment and Fav Lou Ann, my wife pointed out it was less than 4 years ago they started building them, to get planning permission to build in the village the new builds have to be in keeping with the old ones.
@onewing Thank you Babs for your comment, its all down to getting planning permission and blending in, this gatehouse was constructed in 1869 to replace the original on built in 1771:)
