Another entry in this weeks Capture 52 "Architecture"
the £20.5m bus station in Halifax town centre,
ten of the new station’s 19 bus stands
opened on 1st October 2023. Other bus services will continue to run from stops in the town centre until the transformational new station is complete in early 2024.
I like the sweep of the rooftop (nice green, too) and all those windows giving a lot of natural light. A nice capture, too, Peter, with the pops of colour in the foreground garden and with the blue bus pulling our eye in!
@365projectorgheatherb Thank you so much for your great comment Heather, it has been built environmentally friendly with energy saving in mind even the green roof is planted with wild flowers to attract bees:)
@ludwigsdiana Thank you Diana for your comment, we are lucky in England with lots of public transportation, even the buses are free to travel for the over sixties:)
