Brought back some Aboriginal art printed on material, from our last holiday in Australia, this is a small part of a piece depicting the Rainbow Serpent by Danny Eastwood.
Nice. I looked at it enlarged against the black background and was very impressed with the detail in both the artwork and your capture. That Sony is one impressive camera!
@stray_shooter Thanks Ron for your comments, we have a few pieces of Aboriginal art collected on our visits to Oz, all are made up of individual dots of vibrant coloured paint, must take ages to produce;)
A wonderful capture of this aboriginal art! We learn quite a lot about aboriginal culture here in Australia, their culture, dream time stories and have quite the variety of aboriginal art hanging around the school.
@lilminimonka Thank you for your kind words Brianna, nice to know your school takes an interest in their culture, as you probably know much better than me this is the dream time story about the start of life, a copy of the story came with the artwork;)
@teiko Thank you for your comments Emilie, as I said to Ron they are all made up of little dots of paint in different sizes and colours, these traditional patterns are many hundreds of years old, paint is applied on the end of a stick, must take ages to complete;)
