The Cloister

This is another image from Lincoln Cathedral,
the Cloister forms the perimeter on all four sides of a grass inner area, it was built of stone with wooden bosses around 1296 AD.
Lovely shot of repeated pattern in architecture.

Love the repetition here, this would look good cropped to just the arches and the roof too, as that would put the focus on that part of the building.

@flyrobin Thanks Robyn for your comments, have cropped the shot now, funny thing is the pattern of the roof creates an optical illusion that curves the top of the image lol;)
