Blackbird

The Blackbird was interested in what I was up to well long enough for a couple of shots.
What a clear shot. FAV

What a lovely shot, love his eye. This reminds me of a blackbird in our garden once when we first got married. We had been away for a while and the apples from the tree had fallen on the ground and fermented. a blackbird had been eating them and I think it must have been a bit like cider because he was legless. ha ha. Sat there for ages looking cross eyed. He eventually flew off, but I bet his Missus said "I bet you have been to Happy Hour", ha ha.

Nice clear capture Peter.I think that they were one of the things imported into Australia that gave England a bad name here.(foxes, rabbits, sparrows blackbirds, etc)

@peterlgrave Thanks for your comments Peter, I also believe we imported convicts, lol:)

@pcoulson @peterlgrave No convicts, no me. I always reckon that if the Poms had an ounce of sense, they would have left the convicts in England and migrated to Oz themselves.
