Macro of What?

Took this macro today but can you guess what it is, will reveal the answer tomorrow the only clue I'll give is its vegetable!!! (Answer:- the roots starting to grow on a Potato)

Haha...I was going to say something from the sea. At the moment, I am stumped and do not know if I would want to eat it. Cool shot!
