Progress so far

My entry in this weeks capture 52 " tell a Story"
started building this radio controlled little bi-plane to pass the time during lockdown,
Peter, this is incredible. I’m sure you have to use tweezers for a lot of this buildout. Apartments are being built where our radio-controlled airplane folks used to fly their planes. I know they are sad because it is a huge area. Now it will be full of people and cars.

Nice job, well done. Hope you have got plenty of space to go out for a test flight.

This is gorgeous. Well done. I’d be too scared to fly it in case of a heavy landing!

@louannwarren Sad indeed Lou Ann its happening all the time in the UK, fortunately the flying club here is on designated agricultural land and can't be built on:)

@onewing Yes babs plenty of space, I'm a member of the local model flying club our strip is surrounded by open fields the nearest building is half a mile away and belongs to the farmer, and we do not fly over it part of our no fly zone:)

@dide Thank you for your comment Dianne, I've been building and flying radio controlled aircraft since 1977, I'm licensed to fly national competitions and public displays, fortunately crashing is something I do very rarely, the first test flight of a new model can be challenging and is the time the aircraft is most at risk:)

@ingrid01 Thank you for your comment Ingrid, yes the building work is complete other than I need a WW1 scale pilot figure that will need painting, also setting up the radio control flight serfaces needs to be done before its test flight, unfortunately the test flght can't be done uptill the end of the UK lockdown period as all model flying site are off limits:)
