In the past several months, powerful storms have wreaked havoc in many places, torrential rains have poured from the sky, but though these storms have been destructive and deadly, they are at the same time beautiful and awe-inspiring.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments - this barn off the the side of the highway catches my attention everytime I drive by - in my mind I always envisioned this dramatic sky behind it and finally the day came - Patience is a virture (or so they say)
an odd dichotomy aren't they? another great scene i am loving; no wonder you stopped! what makes it so intriguing is there is SO many missing boards to peer through! you must go back at sunrise/sunset and get the light flaring through those boards at you! i command it! hahahaha. very nice peter.
