Fuller's teasel

It's cylindrical array of lavender flowers are starting to show as a lavender hue. This interesting and lovely wild plant was formerly widely used in textile industry, providing a natural comb for cleaning, aligning and raising the nap on fabrics, particularly wool.
This looks a bit like the Thistle photo I posted..but was told that is probably a teasel. Great POV!! Love the touch of lavender showing through!!
