Wild Horses

Reflecting the Calgary Stampede heritage, these metal horses are found galloping near the Alberta courthouse. Interestingly enough, Quebec City is the sister city of Calgary and also has 8 metal horses of the same sort found galloping along the St Lawrence river.

We got to see some wild horses while in North Carolina that are supposedly descendants of horses dropped off by the Spanish when their ships sunk off the coast many many years ago. Didn't see any stampedes though.
