Ancient Spanish Monastery (Miami Collection) by pdulis

Ancient Spanish Monastery (Miami Collection)

It took 19 months and the equivalent of nearly $20 million dollars (in today’s currency) to put the Monastery back together after it was brought over from Spain. In 1953 Time magazine called it “the biggest jigsaw puzzle in history.”
Is this in Miami? It must be very special and kept away from the public! Nice to see it here!

Great tonality in this B&W version. Very interesting story! Shows you to what lengths people go with their hobbies and passions!

@maggiemae - yes Maggie - this in located in North Miami about 5 minutes in land from the beach. Sort of in the middle of no where - but a wonderful find - it's like going back in time to the 11th century :)

Interesting idea! Looks very beautiful, but I think it would be better that the
Church gave 20 million dollars to the poor people. God would be happier!

@vesna0210 - so true Vesna

Sorry, I was angry. Now I see that Church isn't owner because in 1925 William Randolph Hearst purchased this building. But I still think the same about money.
