One of the most dramatic structures on the Bruce Coast, the Cove Island Lighthouse has been marking the rugged passage between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay since 1858.As legends go, lighthouses are rife with the paranormal. Captain Tripp tried to save his boat alone, after the crew abandoned ship, and was said to have gone down with his ship and then his body washed up on shore not too long after and was buried on Cove Island without ceremony or apparently a coffin... instead, wrapped in a sail.

What an awesome looking lighthouse out there by itself Love the action feeling of the waves. Great focus. That pop of red plus the tiny splashes in the bottom corner really add to it.
