There are several reasons that Toronto has such a rich history of graffiti: the city has a lot of controversy over graffiti, the city has many visible spots for artists to show their work (such as graffiti alley) so it's ok to paint graffiti on these walls… yet the controversy continues.

Wonderful. I don't know if Banksy is news where you are but one of his street art pictures (Mobile Lovers) was sold by the boy's club whose door it was on after he said they could have it when the mayor wanted it for the city. The boy's club intend to share the proceeds with other groups serving disadvantaged children!
