What a beautiful photo, Peter! You've done a remarkable job on this one! While it's always fun to set records, as one who lives in the LA area, I cringe to think of the traffic tie-ups that lie ahead! Then again, it looks as though you have a good train system...and we lack a good mass-transit system. I hope it will make a difference!
Awesome shot. The high rises certainly make an impressive skyline, but they do block the light and as Louise says, they sure add to the population and as a consequence, the congestion. It's always a trade-off, isn't it?
I love photographing cities so that will definitely be the up side to the construction -- but there are some downsides re traffic and density. I love this shot, with the railroad bringing us (our eyes) into the city.
Wow, never would have guessed that about Toronto. I would think that would be NYC or Tokoyo or some other big city squeezed into a tight space. Beautiful capture.
