The Holland Marsh has a history as rich as its soil. It was named after an early provincial official named Sam Holland - but it was the Dutch farmers who helped develop this rich productive farm land through their skilled farming practices and co-operative land management. Interestingly, my green-thumbed wife is descended from the Dutch families from Friesland and Groningen :)

Nice leading lines and perspective. I can picture someone in the chair. My 93 year old mother has one like it at the edge of her vegetable garden. I guess we all like to watch growing things.
