This heritage property has been called the “Jewel in the Crown” of Burlington, Ontario's waterfront. It's a perfect location for bird watching, taking a stroll or just taking some picturesque photos. I just love this old stump with exposed roots on the rocky beach.

Love the comp. It has an interesting foreground and that pink tree is well placed. I always like benches and chairs in a photo like this because I can imagine myself sitting there.
Those roots are absolutely intriguing and appealing. I love the way they are so abundant, as if still searching out the water and nutrients for life despite the tree being gone.
I was mesmerized by the roots of the tree trunck, thinking you were showing us the park. Then I read your bit about the photo and saw you were actually showing us the roots. Awesome photo.
