Hamilton is Canada's largest steel town on the western end of Lake Ontario. This was right across the lake from where I photographed the idyllic sunrise over the Skyway bridge and the happy birds eating nuts from our hand. This is our challenge for the future: Nature vs Industry. Industrial forces are at times reshaping our landscape and habitat.

Fabulous colour palette and I really like the movement in bay and yet the stillness in the water in the foreground and the sky in the distance. Super smoke trails too. Instant fav
Such a beautiful shot of maybe a not so photogenic scene in harsh sunlight. The combination of colors is stunning. Man's influence on nature is something that should be kept in check.
Wonderful beautiful scene of this industrial landscape. It’s a challenge balancing the two...this is beauty but is that smoke too much to pay for our planet....difficult balance. Fave.
Nature wins this match hands down though. The sunrise is so majestic... Then again would it be so impressive if not for the structures? Point to ponder...
