Hilton Head Island Alligator

We got up nice and close to alligators in the Sea Pines Resort Forest Preserve. American Alligators have been native to South Carolina for millions of years and live in lagoons and ponds all around the island.

I was there after a hurricane had gone through. So many trees down. Parks and preserves were closed for clean-up.
