Limehouse Conservation Area is situated within the famous Niagara Escarpment. Part of Limehouse Conservation Area is known for a system of deep rock fissures and crevasses. Great places to explore.

It is amazing how limestone is sculpted by nature. In the Isle of Man there is a limestone pavement at the top of the cliffs about 100 metres above sea level, and some of the fissures go right down to sea level.
