Winter Ducks

Snow blizzard hit Southern Ontario, so the ducks were happy to see me with a bag of peas for them :)

They do come with their own duck duvet so only their feet get cold and I think not even the legs or feet have feeling!

It was a brutal day for all the birds yesterday, I tried to put peanuts out for the jays but they just sank immediately into the snow and disappeared. The poor jays made a couple of attempts to retrieve them but they were just too far down. They’ll have to wait for a thaw.
