Airing of Grievances by peggysirk

Airing of Grievances

Today is Festivus ~ a holiday introduced by a screenwriter for the "Seinfeld" show. It's purpose is to take issue with the commercialism and consumerism of the Christmas season. Part of the Festivus celebration includes the "Airing of Grievances", which is an opportunity to tell others how they have disappointed you in the past year. I'd just like to say that I'm somewhat disappointed in my neighbors for leaving these toilets on the curb for almost a week. Happily, that's my biggest grievance on this Festivus Day. :)

For those unfamiliar, but intrigued, by Festivus, here's a link for the low down on the holiday... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festivus
Hahahahaha :-)

They are still there? It its funny to see and a nice picture but certainly annoying. Now their shame is known all over the globe. Festivus is a great idea.

Very interesting ! I wonder why so many toilets ?
December 23rd, 2010
This is classic! Ans something that would bother me too. Haven't they heard of a dump?
December 23rd, 2010
Yeah, I'd have a little problem with that too. Do they collect toilets or something??

@yoelao @glyn @jillypop @pfmandeville Thanks for the comments, ladies. I found out today that the homeowners were having their bathrooms renovated while they were out of town. The contractor left the old toilets there since the homeowners weren't home to complain. Another neighbor let him know that the toilets had been sitting there quite long enough and they were hauled off today. Yea!!
